Aramco prepares to resume loading Saudi oil to Asia

Aramco is preparing to resume crude loadings from Yanbu port for Asian customers as flows on the East-West pipeline return gradually, after the pipeline was shut following drone attacks. The company has informed some clients, while Saudi exports via Ras Tanura have been increased. The pipeline's halt had disrupted about 2.5 million barrels per day of Yanbu loadings.

Why it matters: This bears on the theme of energy security by showing how Saudi Arabia is rerouting crude exports to maintain Asian supply after an attack on its East-West pipeline.
