Kenya prepares for potentially devastating El Niño effects
Kenya's Interior Ministry published its El Niño preparedness plan on September 1. The plan includes mapping vulnerable areas, clearing drainage infrastructure, and raising public awareness. The Kenya Red Cross reports that 46 of 47 counties may receive above-normal rainfall.
