Tullow books Noble drillship for Ghana campaign

Noble Corporation has been awarded a contract by Tullow Oil for the 2013-built drillship Noble Faye Kozack, to work offshore Ghana. The contract covers up to 10 wells and is expected to start in mid-2027, after the unit completes work for Petrobras offshore Brazil, where it has been since July 2024. Tullow previously hired the Noble Venturer in November 2025 under a $171m contract for an estimated 360 days across two phases plus a one-well priced option.

Why it matters: The award adds to a sequence of offshore drilling commitments off Ghana, indicating the direction of upstream energy investment by a London-based independent.
